A Little Bit of Trelawne News 2017

This year will be slightly different for those of you staying with us on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. As many of you know, as a small family run establishment we have only one chef, Jo, who’m has been with us for 6 years now. Jo has been working 7 days a week in peak season and we feel that 2017 should be a little more restful for her. With this in mind the kitchen will be closed on Sunday evenings throughout the main season. To maintain our food quality we feel that obtaining temporary cover for this one night is not feasible.

Once again our AA Merit Score has increased to 84%, taking us to the top end of the score scale for 3* hotels. We also received the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence again, thank’s to your lovely reviews. The refurbishments have all been well received and much appreciated this year, with many of you pre-booking your favourite rooms early.
The views from the hotel are to be enhanced for 2017, with the felling of some of the trees in our neighbours properties. These trees have sparked great conversations of late in the hotel restaurant, so we will be delighted to have had some resolve for you all! As I pen this we are already seeing benefits of the few trees done so far.
Our web-site and logo’s are also being re-designed for 2017, with a fresh new oak tree theme to reflect our handsome tree in the garden.

Trelawne is the perfect setting for relaxing, all-year-round holidays or short breaks, with Maenporth beach and Mawnan Smith village only a short walk away. We are just five minutes from the South Coast Path, offering endless walks along our unique slice of unspoilt Cornish coastline, with Helford to the West and Falmouth to the East.
Glendurgan (NT) and Trebah Gardens close by and have become firm favourites with our regular guests. Falmouth has an award winning art gallery, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Pendennis Castle (EH) and many fine beaches and shops to explore. The Lizard and Roseland peninsulas are both within easy reach to explore.
