As we all know a “thank you” is always appreciated and none more so when someone has taken the trouble to write a letter or note.
For the past thirty years, we have always endeavoured to provide a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with the highest standard of cuisine, and it is always nice to know that we have succeeded, and on occasions, even exceeded, our guest’s expectations!
Although we are not in the habit of handing out plaudits to ourselves, we feel we might be permitted a moment of self-congratulation after all this time - not only to the Gibbons family but also to our hardworking and often unsung members of staff.
At the same time may we say a very special ‘thank you’ for the many hundreds of letters we have received since we first opened, way back in 1974. And this is a selection of what some of you were kind enough to say ...
