A one rosette, 3 star AA hotel for outstanding cuisine, our spacious bedrooms are all fully en-suite (with colour TV, radio, direct dial telephones, hair dryer and beverage making facilities) plus a choice of either sea or country views. The village of Mawnan Smith is close at hand with many small shops and village pub. Maenporth beach is only a short walk away and features great facilities and is a popular favourite.

Organic cuisine

Whilst on the subject of the hotel we might perhaps mention that we use organic produce in our kitchens whenever the market allows, with all our beef, lamb, chicken and vegetables coming from local farms.

Even our ice cream comes from the Lizard where Roskilly’s Ice Cream & Organic Farm were recently rated in the top three for the best ice cream in the UK!

If you ever have an hour or two to spare, a visit to Roskilly’s is well worth while. In addition to their superb herd of Jersey cows, they have tea rooms, craft, glass, furniture and gift shops, while their products range from clotted cream, cream fudge, apple juice and cider, jam, mustard, chutney and marmalade to pasties, chocolate truffles and even furniture polish!

Located in lovely grounds with ponds full of fish and wildlife Roskilly’s provides a unique opportunity to sample life on a working Cornish organic farm.
