Trelawne Hotel

Trelawne has been owned and managed by the Gibbons family for 49 years. Set in a beautiful, unspoilt corner of Cornwall, Trelawne is the perfect setting to relax and unwind, with our welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We offer unrivalled panoramic views over Falmouth Bay over to Rosemullion Headland.

Rooms have either stunning sea views or attractive views of the hotel grounds and surrounding countryside. All rooms have been re-furbished to incorporate a contemporary coastal and country palette. All include crisp, white cotton linen, en-suite bathrooms and free view flat screen televisions. We also have four ground floor bedrooms, two of which are sea facing, both fully re-furbished and with walk-in showers.

Our AA Rosette award winning restaurant offers fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce and overlooks Falmouth Bay and is headed by award winning chef Keith Hook. Trelawne also offers a licensed bar, extensive wine list, a large selection of bottled craft Cornish real ales and a choice of bar meals. Our bar and lounge have fantastic views over to Rosemullion on the right and Falmouth Bay to the left.

Trelawne is the perfect setting for relaxing, all-year-round holidays or short breaks, with Maenporth beach and Mawnan Smith village only a short walk away. We are just five minutes from the South Coast Path, offering endless walks along our unique slice of unspoilt Cornish coastline, with Helford to the West and Falmouth to the East.

Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens are close by. Both fantastic sub-tropical valley gardens, displaying stunning spring colour. Falmouth, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Pendennis Castle and many fine beaches and shops to explore. The Lizard and Roseland peninsulas are both within easy reach.

We are also a 10 minute drive from both the Penryn and Falmouth University Campuses, making us a great choice to provide a quality stopover whilst visiting the Universities or family, with ample parking, away from the bustle of Falmouth

We are the Gibbons family and we have been personally running Trelawne for 49 years. We now have three generations involved in the business, which makes for a very personal experience in a 'proper Cornish' family run hotel!
